Located in Annapolis, Maryland, the Doubletree Annapolis contains 219 rooms, a 1,200 square foot conference center, Olympic-sized pool, fitness center, award-winning restaurant, and a large self parking area. The hotel is in close proximity to shopping, tourist interests, and major highways.

The Opportunity

Management at Doubletree Annapolis desired to convert to LED lighting in all exterior areas to increase light and decrease energy that was being used with older technology.

Bay Lighting Solution

Bay Lighting recommended manufacturer RAB, known for their quality products and 5-year warranty. Proven products from RAB including ALED3T150, FXLED150T, and FXLED78SF were selected for areas throughout the parking area. These products are also eligible for lighting rebates from BGE totaling a savings of $3,200 on product alone.

The Benefits

After installation, the Doubletree can expect to earn an annual energy and maintenance savings of $4,303. Additionally, light levels will increase for a brightly lit, safe parking lot sending a clear message to guests and staff that Doubletree management cares about their experience.
A total of 21 exterior RAB LED fixtures were installed by Bay Lighting which included the following product and quantities: ALED3T150 (16), FXLED150T (4), and FXLED78SF (1).
