According to Grand View Research, the market was valued at USD 81.48 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach USD 168.87 billion by 2030, reflecting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.0% during the forecast period. ​

Similarly, Precedence Research reported the market size at USD 89.37 billion in 2024, with expectations to surpass USD 260.71 billion by 2034, indicating a CAGR of 11.30% from 2024 to 2034. ​

Recycling light fixtures and embracing smart, energy-saving lighting technologies remain central to sustainability strategies worldwide. Today, LED lighting accounts for well over half of global lighting sales, with smart lighting controls and automation playing an increasing role in minimizing energy waste.
