2022 was a pivitol year for energy efficiency. Energy conservation efforts helped save property owners $680 billion, and $560 billion was invested in these efforts worldwide. Efforts to recycle light fixtures and reduce energy waste through lighting were and continue to be a critical part of this movement. In fact, according to the International Energy Agency, more than 50% of the global lighting market now uses LED technology. Bay Lighting is committed to continuing to advance these efforts by providing accessible, efficient light bulb recycling services in Maryland and beyond.
